No more “Queensday”

queensday

Up to 2013 we celebrated “Queens-day”. Sadly it is now a historical memory. Queens day was always on 30 April. For everyone a very exiting day. Apart from all the formal festivities you get to keep whatever sales you made, so most people would use that day to sell what you can, be it second hand or not. It is also a day to sell your craft at a reasonable price be it of a culinary nature or artistic nature. Choosing the location where to sell your product is based on the one who is there first claims the location!

This year for the first time we have “Kings day” because we now have a King and the date is now 26 April. PFFFFFFFFFFF…………thank God nothing else changed!

This year my daughter is preparing to sell “sleeve 1 day tatoos”. The challenge would be to find a location on a 5 minutes walking distance from home. But otherwise we expect it to be just as great as the “Queens day”!

The process you go through when diagnosed with a medically incurable disease is not to be taken lightly and shared as much as you can for that reason I started writing. A wonderful result is that because I am writing about my feelings and experiences it is an emotional therapy for me!
