Looking through my window to the world!

My laptop has become more and more my window to the world. Through this window I choose what I want to see of the world. Is my world limited because of that ? The answer to that question is simply, “Yes”. If I take a random day like today there are according to me several hot items to choose from. Randomly set in an order : 1. Racism in America ; War between Israel and ?, 3. Persecution of Christians in the middle east;War between Ukraine and Russia and beheading of an American journalist. When looking these items up at CNN breaking news I found that the hot items according to CNN are for 50% different.

I am a simple person I do not want to invite negativity into my life , but I cannot close my eyes for all that’s happening around me. Moreover I am being closed in or if you like, drawn in little by little into what is happening around the world. There are so much opinions and views that I am becoming “news-paralyzed”. I try to have an opinion but my opinion is mostly based on someone else’s. Wish news had another effect on me. Take for instance racism , it is naive of me to think that because their is a black president that racism is passe (french).  The fighting in Gaza well if you ask me it is not clear who the enemy is. Is it Hamas, Israel (I am not talking about the Jews , the people of God), USA -investors or Palestinians. Ukraine and Russia that is really unknown and unfamiliar to me. Why are Christians being persecuted again? What I do notice is that the more I know of what is going on the less I understand what is going on, so I then remain “news-paralyzed”!
